3. Create Your First Test: Click "Create Test" to start practicing MCAT questions

For new users, we recommend:

• Start with Tutored Mode to see explanations immediately after each question
• Use Unused Questions to practice with fresh content first
• Begin with smaller test blocks (15-20 questions) to familiarize yourself with the interface
• Focus on understanding the explanations, not just getting the right answers

Creating a test is simple and customizable:

1. Go to "Create Test" from the sidebar
2. Choose between Standard Mode (quick setup) or Custom Mode (advanced filters)
3. Select your preferences:
   • Question Pool: Unused, Incorrect, Marked, or All questions
   • Test Mode: Timed (simulates actual MCAT conditions) or Tutored (immediate feedback)
   • Subjects: Choose specific MCAT subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology/Sociology, CARS)
   • Systems: Filter by organ systems or disciplines
   • Number of Questions: Select how many questions (max varies by subscription)
4. Click "Create Test" to begin

Free users can access limited questions. Upgrade to Premium for full access to all MCAT questions and features.

Multiple tools help you monitor your progress:

Use filters to view specific date ranges or question types for targeted analysis.

To update your account information:

1. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
2. Select "Profile" from the dropdown menu
3. Update your personal information (name, email, phone)
4. Click "Update Profile" to save changes

For subscription management, visit the "Subscription" tab in your profile to view your current plan and billing details.

To reset your password:

1. Go to the login page
2. Click "Forgot Password?"
3. Enter your registered email address
4. Check your email for reset instructions
5. Follow the link to create a new password

If you're already logged in, you can change your password from the Profile section.

The platform offers two exam modes to match your study goals:

• Timed Mode: Simulates actual MCAT exam conditions with a countdown timer and realistic pacing. You cannot see explanations until after submitting the entire test. Perfect for full-length practice exams and assessing your test-day readiness.
• Tutored Mode: Provides immediate feedback after each question with detailed explanations. See correct answers and educational content right away, making it ideal for learning new concepts and reviewing weak areas.

You can switch between modes even during an exam by clicking the mode toggle in the exam header. Start with Tutored Mode for learning, then switch to Timed Mode as your test date approaches.

The timer is automatically set based on the number of questions (approximately 1.5 minutes per question to simulate MCAT pacing). To manage time during an exam:

• View remaining time in the exam header
• Switch to Tutored mode to disable the timer and study at your own pace
• Suspend the exam to pause and resume later without losing progress
• End the exam early if needed

Note: The MCAT allocates approximately 95 seconds per question. Practice with timed mode to build your pacing skills.

To highlight text:

1. Select the text you want to highlight by clicking and dragging
2. A color popup will appear automatically
3. Choose your preferred highlight color
4. To remove highlighting, select the highlighted text and click "Remove"

Your highlights are saved automatically and will persist when you return to the question later.

To create flashcards:

1. Navigate to "Flashcards" → "My Decks" from the sidebar
2. Click "Create New Deck" and give it a name
3. Click "Add Card" to create new flashcards
4. Enter the front (question) and back (answer) content
5. Save the card to add it to your deck

You can also:

• Create flashcards from exam questions while reviewing
• Browse pre-made decks in "Ready Decks"
• Study cards using the practice mode with spaced repetition

The notebook feature helps you organize your study notes:

1. Go to "Notebooks" from the sidebar
2. Click "Create Notebook" to start a new notebook
3. Organize notes hierarchically with folders and subfolders
4. Use the rich text editor to format your notes
5. Search across all your notebooks using the search bar

You can also attach notes to specific questions while taking exams for easy reference later.

Access AI tools through the AI icon in the exam interface or when reviewing questions.

• Performance Reports: Access graphs showing progress over time by subject and system
• Question Stats: Track unused, incorrect, and marked questions

Use the visibility filters in Performance Reports to focus on specific time periods or question types.

To reset your data (one-time only):

1. Navigate to "Reset Options" in the sidebar
2. Choose what to reset: Test Data, Flashcards, or Performance Data
3. Click the reset button for your chosen option
4. Confirm your decision when prompted

Warning: This action is irreversible and can only be done once. All selected data will be permanently deleted.

If you've already used your reset, you can still review questions using "All Questions" mode when creating tests.

Yes, the platform is fully responsive and works on mobile devices:

• Access through any modern mobile browser
• Touch-optimized interface for exam taking
• Highlighting and navigation work with touch gestures
• Some features may have a different layout on smaller screens
